Website and SEO Audit

A website and SEO audit that tells you what is broken first.

Free, and yours to keep. If your own team can handle the fixes, we will say so.

The short answer

A website and SEO audit checks whether search engines can index a site, whether its own pages compete against each other for the same query, whether it loads fast enough to hold a visitor on a phone, and whether inbound calls are tracked well enough to attribute. For a behavioral health facility the audit also covers Google Ads account structure under the healthcare policies, Google Business Profile accuracy across locations, whether tracking scripts are sending protected health information anywhere they should not, and LegitScript certification status.

What it includes

Website and SEO Audit: what it covers

01

Indexation and crawl check

What Google has actually indexed versus what you published. Orphaned pages, blocked directories, and staging sites still live in the index are common and cost rankings immediately.

02

Keyword cannibalization map

Every page on the site mapped to the query it targets, with the overlaps flagged. Facility sites almost always have four pages fighting over one term, which caps all four. This is usually the single largest recoverable loss.

03

Core Web Vitals and mobile behavior

Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, and Cumulative Layout Shift measured on real field data, not a lab score. Most admissions traffic is mobile and often on cellular.

04

Call tracking and analytics audit

Whether calls are attributed at all, whether the numbers are consistent with your directory citations, and whether any script on the site is sending patient-identifying data to a vendor with no business associate agreement.

05

Local and multi-location review

Google Business Profile accuracy, category selection, service area setup, citation consistency, and review velocity for each location. Facilities with two or three sites usually have at least one profile that is quietly wrong.

06

Paid account review

Account structure, healthcare policy exposure, disapprovals sitting unresolved, and spend going to out-of-state and out-of-network traffic. On a $50,000 a month account the geographic waste alone is worth the read. LegitScript status gets checked here too.

Why we give this away

Because it is the fastest way to prove we know this space, and because a generic audit is worthless. Anyone can run a crawler and email you a 90-page PDF. What matters is whether the person reading the output knows that a treatment center ranking for a broad state-level term is worth less than one ranking for a specific level of care in one market.

The audit also protects both sides. Often the biggest problem is not marketing at all. It is a phone nobody answers after 6pm, or an intake process that loses people at the insurance question. Selling a retainer into that produces a bad case study and an unhappy client. share of audits where the primary problem is operational rather than marketing — verify with Tim

What the audit usually finds

Cannibalization first, almost every time. A facility publishes a services page, a program page, a blog post, and a location page all targeting the same treatment term. Google picks one, and usually the wrong one. Consolidating recovers rankings without writing a word of new content.

Second, attribution that does not exist. A site with one phone number in the header and no tracking cannot tell paid from organic from the directory listing someone bought in 2019. Every budget decision after that point is a guess.

Third, compliance debt. Old pixels, tracking parameters carrying condition names in URLs, or a Google Ads account that has been running restricted terms and eating disapprovals.

How it runs and what you get

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Is the audit really free, and what is the catch?

It is free and you keep the findings. The catch, if you want to call it one, is that we are hoping the findings make the case for hiring us. When they do not, we say so. We have told facilities to keep their current agency and fix two specific things instead.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, and your Google Business Profile. That is enough for the full audit. We do not need CMS logins, and we do not need anything containing patient data.

Will you audit work our current agency is doing?

Yes, and that is a common reason facilities call. We look at the account structure, the content, the link profile, and the reporting, and we tell you whether the spend is producing calls. Sometimes the answer is that the agency is fine and the tracking is not.

How is this different from a free audit from any other agency?

Most free audits are an automated crawl report with a sales page attached. Ours reads the healthcare ad policy exposure, the HIPAA tracking risk, the out-of-network geographic waste, and the LegitScript status. Those items require knowing behavioral health, and they are usually where the money is.

What if the audit says our problem is not marketing?

Then we tell you that. Unanswered calls, slow callbacks, and intake friction kill more admissions than rankings do, and none of it is fixed by more traffic. We would rather hand you an operations problem than sell you a retainer that cannot solve it.
